The Miami Dolphins bullying scandal in their locker room has people from every walk of life weighing in on the situation. Some support Richie Incognito and think that Jonathan Martin should “man up” and deal with it. Others think Incognito is clearly in the wrong and none of that has a place in the locker room.
Jonathan Martin can count UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones as a supporter. In a radio interview Tuesday with The Junkies on Washington, D.C.’s 106.7 The Fan, Jones said he’d “kill” Incognito when asked what would happen if the two went toe-to-toe.
“I’d kill him,” Jones said. “Someone tweet him, let him know I’d smoke him. Easy.”
Then the host asked, “he’s just a guy that needs to get his ass beat. Can you please just do us all a favor and do it?”
“You know what? It would be my honor,” Jones answered. “I’m gonna start threatening him on Twitter today.”
It seems like Jones was joking in the interview and isn’t seriously planning on calling him out on Twitter. I’m sure there are people who’d like to see it happen. There is a clear discrepancy in size, one that might not favor Jones.
