Lance Palmer to fight for WSOF featherweight title

world series of fighting

Undefeated prospect Lance “The Party” Palmer is ready to take the next step in his career.

Palmer will face Bellator veteran Georgi Karakhanyan for the inaugural World Series of Fighting Featherweight championship at WOSF 7, Dec. 7. He is replacing Rick Glenn, who withdrew from the fight for undisclosed reasons.

Being a four-time All American wrestler and having three submissions on his record, Palmer has a good ground game. He is also a member of Team Alpha Male, which means he could come into the fight with some good hands. Palmer is 7-0 and is considered one of the top 145-pound prospects in the world.

That said, Palmer will no doubt have his hands full when he steps into the cage with Karakhanyan. The California fighter has an impressive grappling skills of his own, with 12 of his victories coming by way of submission. He is currently on an eight-fight winning streak and has only been finished once in his career.

If Palmer can defeat Karakhanyan and capture the WSOF Featherweight championship, this will be the first step a road that could lead to him to becoming one of the best featherweight fighters in the world.
