New York Yankees won’t be quick to sign Brian McCann or Carlos Beltran

No matter what position this team is in, the New York Yankees always attract some of the best talent in not only the league, but the world.

This team is stacked with money and has the ability to sign one or two top free agents almost every off-season.

The New York Yankees this off-season may be showing some interest in both free agent catcher Brian McCann and outfielder Carlos Beltran, but they may not be quick to sign them.

According to ESPN New York, the Yankees will more than likely wait to see what their market looks like before submitting an offer.

If the Yankees were able to pick up both McCann and Beltran, it would be a huge plus and improvement to this roster after they failed to reach the playoffs last season. They would still be a dangerous team if they just happened to sign Beltran.

Beltran has picked up some interest from their divisional rival (Boston Red Sox), so they’ll more than likely be competing with the Red Sox if the Cardinals pass up on him. Which I don’t believe they will.

It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Right now the infield and pitching are more worrisome than the outfield or catcher. Good move to wait.

If the Cards are going to keep Beltran, then what the hell are we talking about? Nothing?
