So what were you doing at age 14? Because Winter Vinecki is setting world records.

Vinecki, who has been running since she was only 5, completed a marathon in Greece this past weekend, becoming the youngest person to ever run a marathon on each continent. After her father lost his battle against prostrate cancer in 2009, Vinecki made it her goal to break the record before her 15th birthday.

Vinecki spoke about her accomplishment to the Statesman Journal:

It hasn’t quite set in yet. I know that I’ve done something amazing here, but I can’t really put into words how it feels yet; I guess the word would be magical.

Vinecki’s mother, Dawn Estelle, completed the marathon this past weekend, too. The pair are the first mother-daughter duo to run marathons on every continent.

We salute Vinecki for her amazing accomplishment. You can read more about her record and her mission on her website.
