While it may not be a day-long event as it has become in football, some of the best high school college basketball players in the country will make their collegiate choices live on national television late on Friday afternoon.
As was evidenced this past week when the showdown between freshmen Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker was so heavily-hyped, there’s a lot more attention being paid to the youngsters on the court, even if we may only enjoy getting to watch them for one season.
Today, we’ll find out where some of these kids will be spending that one year.
This year’s class is headlined by center Jahlil Okafor out of Chicago. In a bit of irony, his decision is reportedly down to Duke and Kansas, the two teams that gave us that early-season classic this week.
Also, point guard Tyus Jones out of Minnesota, the fourth-ranked prospect in the nation, will also make his announcement shortly after Okafor makes his.
Here’s all the information you’ll need to watch these announcements live as they happen:
Date: Nov. 15
Start Time: 4pm ET
TV Info: ESPNU
