The Miami Heat moved to 6-3 on the year tonight when they were able to take care of the Dallas Mavericks at home, 110-104.
It was a back-and-forth game throughout, and the Mavericks had nearly an answer for everything the Heat did, but it was just never enough for them to walk away with the victory.
For the Heat, veteran guard Dwyane Wade finished the night with 17 points, five rebounds and eight assists.
But, if there has been one criticism of Wade throughout his career, it’s been that he may not be the cleanest player in the world, and unfortunately for him, the cameras caught him in the act tonight.
As Wade was battling in the fourth quarter, the television crew caught the three-time NBA champion putting his elbow squarely in the back of the Mavericks’ Monta Ellis:
Yeah, that looked as if it was a tad bit deliberate right there. Cameras generally don’t lie.
Nonetheless, the Heat got the victory in this one and continue to roll in the last few games.
