Italy and Germany have both punched their tickets to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. This game is purely a friendly to get some practice in ahead of the tournament. Both teams will take this match seriously as they try to prepare for the summer tournament. Italy coach Cesare Prandelli out lined his ideal striking unit.

“In my mind, I am thinking Balotelli and Rossi,” Prandelli said, via ESPN FC. “Rossi has great quality and has been strengthened by injury. Balotelli is a player who can make the team win, but he has got to learn to live with the pressure.”

“It was certainly a magical evening,” Riccardo Montolivo said. “It’s my most beautiful memory. We had the feeling of being one big family, a group united by a strong bond and I think that is what made us do so well. I hope we can recreate that climate for the World Cup.”
