After one half of play, the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks are locked in a battle. At the break, the Heat have a nine-point lead over Dallas, 61-50.
In the first 24 minutes of play, LeBron James, to no surprise of many, lead everyone in scoring with 18 points. He’s gone 7-of-10 from the field, and has also hit four of his five free throw attempts as he attempts to lead Miami to their sixth win of the season.
Not all of those points have come easy, though.
On this play in the second quarter, James displays his exceptional focus as well as his strength.
James had the ball at the top of the key after a dish from Dwayne Wade and was ready to take it straight to the hole. However, there was a bit of a road block in his path in the form of Mavericks center, DeJuan Blair.
