On Thursday afternoon, it looked like the Oakland Raiders would having their starting quarterback under center, despite lingering injury issues.

Earlier in the week, it wasn’t expected that Pryor would play but after a solid day of practice on Thursday where he and Matt McGloin split first team reps, it was expected Pryor would start against the Houston Texans come Week 11.

Now that’s seriously in doubt as it was reported earlier in the afternoon that all signs were pointing towards the Raiders starting McGloin, likely because Pryor suffered some type of setback.

According to head coach Dennis Allen, Pryor reportedly ‘wasn’t feeling as good (Friday) as he did on (Thursday)’:

"Allen says Terrelle Pryor (knee) is questionable for Sunday, wasn’t feeling as good today as he was yesterday"

Barring something strange, it appears McGloin will be starting for the Raiders in Week 11.

There’s no word on if Pryor will be active as a backup for the Raiders matchup against the Texans – a decision which may not be made until Sunday morning.
