UFC 167: Rashad Evans vs Chael Sonnen weigh in results

The co-main event of UFC 167 is a Light-Heavyweight battle between friends and co-workers, Chael Sonnen and Rashad Evans. Chael has continually noted that he is unsure of how he will beat Rashad, and that he will likely have to reach deep into his bag of tricks to do so. Chael is coming off a fantastic performance over Shogun Rua, where he submitted the Pride veteran in the first round. It is certainly interesting to see if all of Chael’s distractions and responsibilities will affect his performance against Rashad.

As for Rashad, he is trying to stay on the winning track after defeating Dan Henderson in his last bout at UFC 161. Will Rashad be able to outwrestle and outmuscle Chael Sonnen? Will the self proclaimed ‘American Gangster’ defeat his friend and have bragging rights from here on out?

Even though this fight lacks the tirade of insults Chael usually dishes out, this is a fantastic matchup and a must watch for fight fans.
