Since firing embattled coach Lane Kiffin, the USC Trojans are 4-1 and a playing with a new fire within the team that definitely wasn’t there when the season began.

The majority of this can definitely be attributed to interim head coach Ed Orgeron. Every player on that team seems to love ‘Coach O’ and that can go a long way in rebuilding a football program.

There’s no doubt that Orgeron has gained a lot of new fans in recent weeks, yours truly included. I’m actually one of the few that believe he should keep the job, especially if he’s able to defeat the fourth-ranked Stanford Cardinal on Saturday.

Now when Lane Kiffin first arrived on campus, he was treated like a celebrity. His coaching style didn’t let him keep that status for long, though, as the USC faithful quickly realized that the school had made a huge mistake with the hiring.

Orgeron may not be treated like a celebrity, but he certainly seems to have no problem hanging with them the day before a huge game.

As I said, Orgeron has gained a lot of new fans lately. Like, Dr. Dre, for instance:
