According to an article by the Associated Press, found on ESPN,
Baylor running back Lache Seastrunk missed the fifth-ranked Bears’ game against Texas Tech on Saturday night because of a groin injury.
Seastrunk, the Big 12‘s leading rusher with 111 yards per game, was hurt in the Bears’ 41-12 win over Oklahoma on Nov. 7.
Seastrunk’s absence is a big one for Baylor, as he as been one of the biggest reasons the Bears have been successful this season. They will have to find other ways o get into the end zone. However, it looks as though that will be a little bit more difficult, as one of the receivers will miss significant time as well.
The Bears were also without receiver Tevin Reese, who is out for at least the rest of the regular season. He had surgery on his dislocated right wrist the day after the Oklahoma game.
How do you think Baylor will be able to win moving forward? What things will they have to do to keep their momentum? Sound off in the comments below.
