The Bears have added some depth to their defensive line.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Chicago Bears have promoted defensive end Cheta Ozougwu from the practice squad.

The move makes sense considering starting defensive end Shea McClellin is doubtful to play this week with a hamstring injury.

The 24-year-old Ozougwa played in two regular season games for the Bears last season, racking up three tackles. Ozougwa was waived on September 1 of this season, and was resigned to the practice squad 23 days later.

The Bears released linebacker Larry Grant to make room for Ozougwa.
