Week 12 of the college football season is here, and while it’s still early, many of the nation’s best teams are beginning to separate themselves from the pack, and we’re starting to get a good feel for which team will be vying for a spot in the BCS National Championship game, as well as the rest of the BCS bowls.

We’re also starting to see the true Heisman contenders stand-out, and after this weekend, we’ll have an even better idea of who could being New York for the annual Heisman trophy presentation, and who could be in Pasadena in the Rose Bowl playing for all the roses in the title game.

All that being said, let’s take a look at some of the best matchups of the weekend, and which player are poised for a big performance.
