Earlier on Friday, the Chicago Bulls moved to 4-3 on the season when they defeated the Toronto Raptors on the road, 96-80.
Undoubtedly in this one, the star for the Bulls once again was Joakim Noah. Noah finished the night with 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists and a steal in leading his team to their fourth win on the season.
However, he was also put on a poster in this one, something you don’t see happen to him often while he’s defending.
In the contest, Raptors guard DeMar Derozan, who was the breakout player for his team tonight by dropping 37 points on Chicago, was just feeling it. So, when he had the ball in his hands at one point, he decided that he was going to breeze right pass shooting guard Jimmy Butler, who was locked right on him.
Derozan cruised right past Butler and headed straight for the rim, where Noah was waiting.
