The Illinois Fighting Illini wasted no time getting behind to the Ohio State Buckeyes in this match up. It took all of three plays for OSU quarterback Braxton Miller to break open the scoring with a 70-yard touchdown run.
Midway through the second quarter they were already down 28-0 and losing ground quickly. They actually stopped the Buckeyes offense and forced them to punt. Illini defensive back V’angelo Bentley received the punt and took off down field.
He has to make some moves to get around some defenders at first. At one point it looks like he goes into a small version of Marshawn Lynch’s best mode run. The field gets really crowded and he is in the middle of a cluster of players. He bounces off a couple of defenders before cutting it towards the side line and up field. Once he gets past that point it is smooth sailing to the end zone.
