The Illinois Fighting Illini are having a nightmare of a day today at home against the Ohio State Buckeyes. At the moment in the second half, the Illini are getting routed, 44-21.

In a game like this, it’s easy to let your frustrations get the best of you. Well, if you’ve had the season that Illinois has had so far, it’s really simple to see how this team could be frustrated, come to think of it.

That doesn’t always end with the players on the field, though. Sometimes, the coaches can just finally snap after that frustration has really set in, and that’s exactly what happened today for the Illini.

That’s what will eventually happen when you haven’t won a game in the conference in two years. While they maybe saw this shellacking coming a mile away from Ohio State today, that still doesn’t mean that it gets any less frustrating, especially when you’re at home.

With this impending loss, Illinois will drop to 3-7 on the year, as they await the arrival next season of Wes Lunt to take over the quarterback duties.
