For now, the Kentucky Wildcats are at the bottom of the SEC. It’s going to be a while before new head coach Mark Stoops can get this program up and running again, that’s if he can accomplish that at all.
Today, they suffered another setback as they were beaten easily at home by the Vanderbilt Commodores, 22-6. It dropped them to 0-6 in conference play in the SEC, further showing how much this team needs to work on.
As far as what they need to work on, discipline may be one of those, as defensive back Eric Dixon displayed on one play.
As the Vanderbilt receiver was making his way down the field with the ball, Dixon came full speed across the field to make the hit.
But, he did the one thing that all players are supposed to be trained not to do in today’s world–he put the head down and sling-shotted himself right into the receiver:
