The Michigan State Spartans are seeking a huge win against the Nebraska Cornhuskers today on the road in Lincoln, a victory that would put them in a great position to match up with the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Big Ten Championship Game next month.

But, Nebraska is not going down without a fight. Even without Taylor Martinez at QB, this team has gotten better the last few weeks and had no plans to roll over and play dead for the Spartans.

So, Michigan State and head coach Mark Dantonio had to pull out the trickery in this one, and that they did in the fourth quarter.

With the game tight in the fourth, Dantonio sent out the field goal unit while they were in Husker territory. The only thing was, he sent them out with no intention of kicking a field goal whatsoever:

The fake was perfectly executed by the punter and it ultimately resulted in another touchdown for Michigan State, who seems as if they’ll be one step closer to that date with the Buckeyes.
