UFC 167 prelims continue on Fox Sports 1. Lightweights, Donald Cerrone and Evan Dunham, are the main event of the prelims in a fight that is sure to bring fireworks. Cerrone has stated that he will be moving down to 145 after this fight. Dunham is looking to rebound from a loss to Rafael Dos Anjos.
Donald Cerrone vs. Evan Dunham
Right away they bang and Cerrone lands a nice knee. Donald Cerrone lands another big knee and is following up with some big shots! Dunham is down, and Cerrone is raining down haymakers! Incredibly, Dunham survives. Dunham with a nice scramble and Cerrone answers right back with an omoplata sweep. Great action to start this fight. As they stand, Dunham gets Cerrone up to the fence and eats some hard knees. Another knee from Cerrone lands and Dunham’s face is busted up. Donald Cerrone’s wonderful Muay Thai was on display in round 1. Round 2 starts with another frenetic exchange. Cerrone is landing some heavy knees. Every time Dunham comes in, he is getting tagged by Cerrone. Dunham is holding his own better this round on the feet, but can not take Cerrone down. Cerrone gets Dunham down with two minutes remaining. Dunham explodes out but Cerrone with a beautiful triangle choke and the finish! What a performance by Donald Cerrone! Incredible way to go into the pay per view card!

Ed Herman vs. Thales Leites
Ed Herman was tagged and dropped very early in the fight, but he landed a nice upkick. Thales Leites landed some very nice ground and pound. Ed Herman is showing solid defense from the ground. Herman got back up, but a nice trip takedown from Leites gets him back on the mat. Leites with a very smooth back mount. Ed stood up with about 10 seconds to go, but was completely dominated in that round. Second round begins with a nice exchange, but Leites pushes Ed to the fence. Thales gets Ed to the mat and fished for the arm triangle choke. Another beautiful transition into back mount by Leites. This fight is not very good. Ed Herman storms in at the beginning of round 3 landing some nice punches. Uppercuts landing for Herman, but he needs to go in for the kill if he wants to win. Herman with a blatant fence grab, but he is eventually taken down. Leites is completely smothering Herman. Leites finishes the fight in mount on top of Herman. Not a very good fight, but a strong performance by Thales Leites.
