Welterweights, Tyron Woodley and Josh Koscheck, will throw down tonight at UFC 167. Koscheck, a veteran of The Ultimate Fighter season 1, is looking to rebound from back to back losses at the hands of Robbie Lawler and Johny Hendricks. If Koscheck loses tonight, he could likely be looking for a job elsewhere. After a successful UFC debut in which he KO’ed Jay Hieron, Tyron Woodley is looking to bounce back from his previous loss to Jake Shields. Hopefully both men will come out aggressive tonight and put on a good performance.

Round 1: Tyron goes for the glove touch, but Koscheck does not want. Tyron with a right hand to start. He follows that with a big left and an uppercut. Josh is dropped quickly. Koscheck gets up, and is pushing Tyron to the fence. Koscheck does nothing and they are separated by Herb Dean. Tyron with a jab. Tyron misses a body shot. Hard leg kick from Tyron, but Kos with a strong right that definitely stunned Tyron. Kos with a big overhand right that misses. Woodley with a big right hand and he is swarming. Huge ground and pound by Tyron and Koscheck is somehow surviving. It looked like Josh was out for a second, but he is hanging on and recovering. Unbelievable that Koscheck survived that onslaught. Tyron is landing some weak right hands as Josh holds on to him. Herb Dean stands them up with a minute to go. Both men are feinting and Josh throws a big right hand that is countered by a huge right hook! Josh Koscheck folds and another big right finishes him off. Incredible KO by Tyron. Wow.
