Kickboxing champion Ben Edwards is no stranger to big matches.

Throughout his kickboxing career the Austrailian fighter has come up against some of the biggest names in the sport including Rico Verhoeven, Mighty Mo and Alistair Overeem.

Edward once again finds himself once stepping into the big fight picture as he faces Moracan fighter “The Goliath” Jamal Ben Saddik in the co-main event of Glory 12, Nov. 23, in New York.

Edwards has had a successful 2013, winning three of his last fights and becoming the Kings Of Kombat Heavyweight champion after he defeated Cătălin Moroşanu back in September. Edwards also made his professional mixed martial arts debut back in August where he defeated Donnie Lester by TKO in the first round.

While Edwards atteps to extend his winning streak, Saddik is looking to rebound from his loss to kickboxing legend Peter Aerts back in May. Prior to the fight against Aerts, he participated in the Glory 4: Tokyo – 2012 Heavyweight Grand Slam Tournament, defeating Errol Zimmerman and Remy Bonjasky before losing in the semifinals to Daniel Ghiță.

This could be an explosive match as both fighters have 56 combined knockouts.
