College basketball AP Top 25 poll: Michigan State takes No. 1 spot


The updated AP Top 25 poll has been released for college hoops and it didn’t take long for us to get a new No. 1. After the Michigan State Spartans defeated the Kentucky Wildcats during the Championship Classic, the Spartans were able to leap in to the top spot while Kentucky dipped to No. 4.

The biggest losers in the latest poll were the North Carolina Tar Heels, who plummeted to No. 24 after their shocking loss to Belmont.
