This past week UFC officials announced the coaches for “The Ultimate Fighter: China”.

As with previous season of “TUF”, the show will have two coaches. Coaching one team will be octagon veteran Tiequan “The Wolf” Zhang while undefeated prospect Hailin Ao will coach the other squad. Former Strikeforce Middleweight champion and UFC star Cung Le will serve as the head coach for the series.

While the show has filmed in Brazil and Australia, this will be the first time a “TUF” season has taken place in China. In 2012, the UFC announced they would be holding “TUF” in India, but those plans never came to fruition.

Unlike previous seasons shows, it appears that Zhang and Ao will not fight at the end of the season, which is similar to when Rich Franklin coached against Matt Hughes in “TUF 2“. However fans can hope there is some sort of coaching competition in the later episodes of the show.

The cast will feature eight welterweights and eight featherweights. “TUF: China” is set to premier Dec. 7, on Liaoning Satellite TV across China.
