After the close loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, the Mississippi State Bulldogs and head coach Dan Mullen are 4-6, one year after finishing 8-5.
The criticisms of Mullen are starting to pop up more and more as the losses begin to pile up. With just two games left in the season, including the Egg Bowl against rival Ole Miss, there is a chance that this team may not see a bowl game during the holiday season.
Not just this year, but for the majority of Mullen’s tenure, one of the issues with Mullen’s Bulldog teams is that they just can’t seem to finish games. They start off great, but they just can’t put the nail in the coffin down the stretch.
Mullen can finish one thing, though, apparently–wings.
At the local Buffalo Wild Wings during an intermission to his radio show, the Mississippi State head man down 15 wings in an astonishing three minutes.

He might not be able to get the teams to finish off some of these crucial SEC contests, but those wings don’t stand a chance.
