The seventh week of NHL action is in the books, and our top-10 has seen a pretty big shakeup in response to the various winning and losing streaks that have sprung up over the last 10 days or so. Winning trends are no longer just blips on the radar, while teams heading the other way are slowly finding themselves in pretty deep holes that they may not be able to recover from.
As in weeks gone by, to keep things interesting we’ve implemented a five-move limit on each team. No squad can rise more than five places, and no team can fall more than five spaces. That prevents anyone from getting a free ride to the top or a quick boot to the bottom just because of an off week.
