The Ohio State Buckeyes continue to come out of their traditional shell one step at a time, from helmets to altered throwbacks. They’ll take another step in week 14 when they plan to wear an all-white rivalry alternate uniform against their rivals from Ann Arbor, the Michigan Wolverines.

A source close to the program revealed the uniform selection (more photos included in link) to Eleven Warriors earlier today and the site did a beautiful mock up of what it will look like when the Buckeyes take the field in The Big House.

Ok, keep in mind that this is a mock up, but I gotta say that it looks dang sharp. The black stripes are clearly more defined and it’s carries a little more ‘pop’ than the gray pants can give. Looking forward to seeing them in action.

Here’s a funny quote from one of the fans on the Eleven Warriors board about the uniform:

I like these uniforms.  It creates our own narrative of casting us in all white, aka the good guys.  Now it will look like a pack of angels has descended on the Big House to destroy it with fire and brimstone!  A punishment for their sins against our strength of schedule and for embarrassing themselves by bearing false witness in acting/thinking they were good.
