In the first quarter of the game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Washington Wizards on Wednesday night, guard C.J. Miles came down with what the team is calling a strained calf.  His return to the game has been called questionable at this point.

This was Miles’ second start as a reward for leading the team in Personal Efficiency Rating (or PER).  The move was initially made when Dion Waiters was out due to an illness.  Waiters has come into the game for the Cavaliers as they attempt to come back from an early blitz from the Wizards.

The Cavs are down 30-19 at the end of the first quarter as they continue to try to find some consistency from one game to the next.  The Wizards came out shooting extremely well but some bad turnovers have given them the opportunity to come in and get points on the fast break.  Nothing about this game has started out well for the Cavs and the injury to Miles only makes that situation look even worse.
