During New England’s Week 11 meeting with the Carolina Panthers, Amendola tallied six receptions for 45 yards on seven targets. While that does amount to 10 points in point-per-reception leagues, that’s not the kind of production you want from a receiver you probably drafted with the hope of him becoming a mid-high WR 2 play every week.
He’s not even a consistent flex option at this point in standard leagues, and if he fails to produce this week against a banged-up Denver Broncos secondary, it may be time to cut your losses with him in your fantasy football league.
Speaking of banged-up, Amendola was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice session:
Amendola was limited today after being a full participant last week.

Amendola has been limited to just six games this year due to multiple injuries, including a torn abductor muscle and a concussion. Over the course of this year, he’s accumulated 29 receptions on 43 targets for 341 yards and one touchdown.
Keep him if you’re in a PPR league, but if you’re in a standard fantasy football league, one more bad performance should lead to his ouster from your roster.
