Kobe Bryant scrimmaging (Video)

If you are wondering how Kobe has looked in practice, here you go.

Bryant has been cleared for contact in practice, which is the last step in rehab before playing. He can go as hard as his body will let him. Mike D’Antoni has all but ruled him out for Friday’s game, but he should be playing soon. My guess is November 27th, as the Lakers will be debuting their black jerseys, and that would be a good look for Bryant.

Sure, Bryant looks good in scrimmages, but playing the games can be a totally different animal. This injury usually slows down the way a player plays, but this is Kobe Bryant. To think that he will come out and be the same old Kobe would be foolish, but the guy has done some incredible things in his career, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he plays at an elite level again.

It’s great to see Kobe playing again, albeit a practice. The Lakers can be a team that contends for a bottom playoff spot, and Kobe should give them a boost.
