It has been announced that Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez will miss yet another game for the team when they take on the Charlotte Bobcats tonight. This will be Lopez’s third straight game he has missed.

From ESPN New York,

Lopez suffered the injury when he got tangled up with power forward Kevin Garnett in Saturday night’s game against the Phoenix Suns.

In eight games, Lopez is averaging 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks. The 25-year-old ranks fourth in the NBA in Player Efficiency Rating (27.77) and seventh in the league in field-goal percentage (57.4).

There is also more injury news surrounding the 3-7 Brooklyn Nets.

The Nets also announced that reserve forward Andrei Kirilenko will miss his sixth straight game because of back spasms.

Kirilenko said Tuesday that he thinks he might be three to four days away from being cleared for full-contract practice.

The Nets are currently in last place in there division with a poor 3-7 record, however, if they want to improve the number in their wins column, they’re going to want to get these injured players healthy again.
