The Alabama Crimson Tide roster is loaded with NFL talent, which is clear when they take on the field on Saturday’s, but there is one player who is catching the eyes of NFL draft scouts more than the others.
Considering you have guys like safety HaHa Clinton-Dix and offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, it takes a lot to be considered the best Alabama draft prospect. However, that is exactly the status that Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley is getting due to his recent play.
During a recent conference call, ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. spoke about Mosley and had nothing but great things to say.
“Obviously, you talk about a guy who has done a tremendous job from a production standpoint, a consistency standpoint, every game he shows up, he studies, he prepares,” Kiper Jr. said, via al.com. “For the NFL right now, to have a guy who covers and be on the field for every down like he can, that’s a huge asset to a coordinator.
“He’ll be one of the first four, five, six, seven players drafted more than likely.”
You can never have enough difference makers on the defensive side of the ball at the next level, so Mosley will be a highly sought after player.
NFL defensive coordinators would love to have a player like Mosley who puts everything into his game preparation and game performance, so get used to hearing his name if your team could be looking to boost their linebacking corp early in next year’s draft.
