In all seriousness, the MVP race should really be called, “Peyton Manning and a few guys that aren’t Peyton Manning”. I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that the MVP award is his to lose at this point. Against the previously undefeated Chiefs Manning did not take a single sack and was barely touched the entire game. He was limited to only one touchdown throw but still managed 323 passing yards to add to his 3,572 total so far for the year. His 34 touchdowns and 6 intercepts are leaps and bounds above anyone else and he’s got the Broncos tied for the #1 overall seed in the AFC. In the next two weeks the Broncos will face the Patriots and the Chiefs, both on the road so there’s no time for Peyton to relax and nurse that ankle. Hope he got all the rest he needs by not getting sacked last week.
