According to Kyle Rowland, a contributor to Eleven WarriorsOhio State head coach Urban Meyer has said that junior cornerback Bradley Roby will forgo his senior year and enter the NFL Draft.  If that does happen, Roby is going to compete to be one of the top corners selected in next year’s draft.

Roby was one of the top corners as a redshirt sophomore and there was speculation he might make the jump last year.  His performance this year has not been to the level last year was and teams will have to look into figuring out the reason for the drop off.

Physically, he has all of the tools to be a good cover corner who can play in press.  He needed to get more comfortable turning his back to the football, but he has shown the ability to be an effective run defender and tackler as well as someone who can make plays on the football, but there are certainly questions with consistency.  The talent is there, but getting it to show up every week has been a question this year.

In the meantime, the Buckeyes are undefeated and preparing to play the Indiana Hoosiers as they continue their quest for a Big Ten Championship as well as potentially a National Championship.
