The New York Knicks need anything positive early on in the season. I’m not quite sure that 3-7 is something that they envisioned coming into the season, especially with Carmelo Anthony talking the team up so much in the offseason.
Yet, here they are with that 3-7 record and struggling to find answers. That also includes head coach Mike Woodson.
Now some have Woodson on a bit of a hot seat after the lackluster start, which may be a tad bit of a stretch, especially given the absence of Tyson Chandler. Nonetheless, though, the heat usually falls directly on the coach’s shoulders and that’s the case here.
But, as you can see, not even he’s sure what’s going on with this team at times:
This was right at the end of the half as the Knicks let the Pacers come back after holding on to a lead through a good portion of the first half.
That has got to be the ultimate “You’ve go to be kidding me” moment thus far in the NBA.
