We’ve seen the Oklahoma Sooners and head coach Bob Stoops ride the QB carousel all year long between Trevor Knight and Blake Bell. In Saturday’s win over Iowa State, Bell suffered a concussion and Knight came in to take over the signal-calling duties in the second quarter.
Knight was named the starter to begin the year, but was replaced by Bell after two games. But, both have seen significant time on the field throughout the year, which may be a good or bad thing, depending on whom you ask.
This Saturday, however, it’ll be all on Knight’s shoulders against a very dangerous Kansas State team led by head coach Bill Snyder who has made a career out of putting a damper on team’s hopes.
Last week against Iowa State, Knight finished with 123 yards rushing and 61 passing in relief of Bell.
