According to Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com, Nike has teamed up with Transformers creator Hasbro to sell a Calvin Johnson themed “Megatron” action figure.  The action figure can be purchased as part of a package deal, which includes three pairs of shoes made by Nike.  The report states only 81 packages are currently for sale.  Hopefully, many more will be made available for the holiday season.

We will see if Calvin Johnson lives up to his billing as an action figure villain against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-8) this Sunday.  Johnson needs to help the Detroit Lions (6-4) take care of business at home against a struggling Tampa Bay team.  Tampa Bay cornerback, Darrelle Revis, will play the role of superhero as he guards the talented Johnson.

Revis says he plans to be physical with Johnson, a tactic that has been known to work in the cutthroat world of football.  Who will win this superhero-villain matchup?  The man with the action figure of course!  Actually, I have no idea, but let me know what you think in the comments section.
