New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles is dealing with ankle and knee injuries that forced him to be listed as questionable for this week’s match up against the Atlanta Falcons in an NFC South meeting that will take place on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 12.

While there was still some hope that Sproles could take the field for the game, he was officially ruled out when the team unveiled their list of inactives.

Also inactive for the Saints is guard Jahri Evans who suffered an ankle injury.

New Orleans is still in good position to earn the win over a struggling Falcons team that is among the worst in the league. While losing Sproles and Evans hurts, the team is good enough to fight through their losses.

For the Falcons, the inactives list includes running back Josh Vaughn, defensive back Kemal Ishmael, linebacker Omar Gaither, guard Harland Gunn, offensive tackle Sean Locklear, wide receiver Brian Robiskie and  defensive end Malliciah Goodman.
