Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak spent last week’s game against the Oakland Raiders coaching from the press box, which came in his return to the team after suffering an on-field mini-stroke just two weeks prior.

The Texans was still unable to take on a full workload, so he kept off of the sidelines in an effort to relieve some of the additional stress that comes with coaching a professional game and it looks like he could once again be serving his duties from above the field level.

Kubiak said that a discussion on whether or not he will be able to coach from the sidelines tomorrow and he obviously hopes that he can be there with his team.

“We talked about it last night,” Kubiak said.  “We’ll probably talk about it again tomorrow.  Let me see.  I’m in a battle. I’d love to, but we’ll see. I’ll let you guys know tomorrow.”

While not having Kubiak on the sidelines limits him, having him there to call the plays is something that the Texans are still able to benefit from.
