Cage Fury Fighting Championship Middleweight title holder Dustin Jacoby will be looking to end his year in combat sport on a high note as he welcomes Makoto Uehara to the ring at Glory 13, in Tokyo.

Jacoby comes into the fight with a decision loss to Danyo Ilunga in the semifinals of the 95kg Slam Tournament. His year has not all been downs as he won the 2013 Road to Glory USA tournament back in February. Between his MMA and kickboxing careers, he has a total of 10 knockouts.

As for Uehara, he is currently on a four-winning streak that include two knockouts. He is a multiple-time RISE champion, as well as the 31st Shidokan Karate Strong Open Tournament champion.

All in all, this has the makings of an exciting match up.

Jacoby and Uehara will be a part of the event’s Superfight Series. The match was originally going to fight at the Glory 12 event until the promotion decided to move the fight to the December event.
