The Anaheim Ducks will play their first game of a back-to-back series tonight when they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning. All indicators point toward Viktor Fasth getting the start in goal for Anaheim as they try to snap a five-game winless streak. That would make Jonas Hiller the probable starter for tomorrow’s matchup with the Phoenix Coyotes.
Meanwhile, Viktor Fasth jumps off the ice. Your Ducks starting goalie tonight.

Fasth was one of the top stories around the NHL last year, but has struggled to recapture his magic in 2013-14. He’s only played in five contests this season, and sports a 2.95 GAA to go along with a .855 save percentage.
This will be his third start in four games, and he’s struggled mightily to post wins in that time frame. Anaheim is banged up all over the place and a flu bug is tearing through their locker room, so it’s tough to place all of the blame on Fasth.
He’s just getting his bearings after missing a month of action though, and could begin to round into form as the Ducks continue to get him starts. Hiller has been one of the players that has been sick recently, and that’s given Fasth some time to get his legs under him.
