There is a very talented quarterback in college football who is catching the attention of NFL scouts, but many fans across the nation do not discuss him as highly as others and some may not even realize just how impressive he has been.
Central Florida quarterback Blake Bortles has been one of the most impressive quarterbacks in the nation and the NFL Draft scouts are continuing to take notice as he improves his standing as the season progresses.
Bortles has the size, mobility and arm that you would like in an NFL quarterback, and his playing style has drawn comparisons to a very highly touted prospect from just two years ago.
Whether or not you want to hear it, that quarterback is Andrew Luck.
From Josh Norris of Rotoworld:
I’m not the first, nor the last, to say it… but think of Bortles as if Luck was a good/great, not rare, QB prospect.

Before you jump on Norris, realize what he is saying.
Luck was a rare prospect because of the intangibles and understanding of the game that he had, but Bortles’ skill set is very similar.
You always see Bortles making the plays that his team needs either with his arm or legs. His athleticism is incredibly under rated and he has shown some great leadership skills throughout his time in college.
At this point, it’s easy to see Bortles being selected in the first two rounds.
There is plenty of upside with the UCF star and he is already at a great point in his career, so it is going to be interesting to see what happens throughout the draft process and as the date draws nearer to see when he will be selected.
