Andre Drummond is a beast physically.

He has all the athletic tools to be one of the best centers in the league, and he just needs the skills to make him take the next step. He has been good this season, averaging 12 points and 12 rebounds per game.

The Pistons have been disappointing this season, as they sit just 4-8 on the season. Josh Smith has been a disappointment, and they need something to get them going.

In this play, Brandon Jennings takes the ball down the floor against the Los Angeles Lakers, and a great play ensues. He throws the ball off the glass, and Andre Drummond shows off some of that athleticism when he catches the ball and throws down the monster dunk. It is probably a candidate for dunk of the year, and it is already the alley-oop of the year.

The Lakers got the win in this game, and that’s all that really matters. If it’s any consolation to Drummond and the Pistons, they get our NBA Dunk of the Week.
