Bulls at Trail Blazers: Derrick Rose taken to the locker room, not putting weight on leg

The saving grace for the Chicago Bulls was returning this season and was supposed to have the team in a position to make a legitimate run at the NBA Title. This saving grace, obviously, was PG Derrick Rose. After missing all of last year rehabbing his injured knee, Rose would return this year to lead the Bulls back to glory, hopefully.

Tonight, those hopes may have taken a bit of a setback as in the team’s game with the Portland Trail Blazers tonight, just a short while ago, Rose was taken from the bench back to the locker room by the training staff, where he was putting no weight on his right leg.

This was indeed not the sight that Bulls faithful wanted to see. After having to endure the entire season without their star, even more time with him absent would just be an absolute nightmare.

We’ll have more on this as it develops.
