Even with the loss to the Stanford Cardinal a few weeks ago, the Oregon Ducks still have a lot to fight for this season. They were able to climb their way all the way back to number five in the latest BCS rankings and still have an outside shot of playing for the title if some things go their way.
Today, they have a tough test on the road against the Arizona Wildcats. While they may not be the best team in the Pac-12, they’re still a team that has showed some signs of grit and toughness this year. That’s showing so far as they’re shocking the Ducks early, 21-9.
But, the Ducks aren’t going down without a fight and and all-everything threat De’Anthony Thomas showed that in the first half of this one with an amazing grab.
QB Marcus Mariota had Thomas wide open over the middle, however, he overshot his speedy threat just a little bit. But, Thomas used his athleticism to get his right hand–and his right hand only–up in the air and come down with the ball–somehow:
Amazing grab by one of the best players in the country on that one.
