Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol left the team’s Friday night loss to the San Antonio Spurs early with a knee injury, and the early rumors that are swirling do not look good. While the team has yet to make any announcement, there are rumors swirling that the Grizzlies star has suffered a tear of his ACL that could keep him out of action for a few months.
From 3 Shades of Blue:
Rumors are swirling Marc Gasol has a Grade 2 MCL tear and will be out 10 weeks.

Gasol is the reigning Defensive Player of the year, so it would obviously be a huge loss for the team if the report proves to be true and Gasol is forced to miss significant time.
The injury Gasol came on the same night where Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose injured his right knee. While a torn ACL in his left knee is what sidelined Rose all of last season, the Bulls fear that Rose tore his right ACL this time around.
Apparently the basketball gods were not feeling kind on Friday night.
