If there has been one glaring difference in the LSU Tigers this year in comparison to recent years, the passing game has been amped up greatly. QB Zach Mettenberger and WRs Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. have cause nightmares for teams all year long.

Beckham has already surpassed the 1,000-yard receiving mark, and today against the Texas A&M Aggies at home, Landry joined him.

Landry surpassed the 1,000-yard plateau late in the second quarter on a 40-yard scoring strike that put the Tigers up 21-3 at the time and seemed to suck the life out of the visiting Aggies:

That did, at the time, give LSU the lead, but A&M fired right back with a touchdown pass from Johnny Manziel.

So far, though, it’s been roughly domination from LSU. Those holes in the A&M defense are getting exposed a lot by Mettenberger and crew.

At the half, LSU currently holds a 21-0 lead over the Aggies and we might be in for a wild second half if Manziel and company can get something going.
