The Minnesota Vikings travel to Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon to take on the NFC North division rival Green Bay Packers, in a game that will welcome Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings back to Wisconsin for the first time since leaving the Packers this offseason.

Jennings has been dealing with an Achilles injury that has put his status for the big game in jeopardy, but Jennings expects to be able to play on Sunday.

From the Minneapolis Star-Tribune:

"Wide receiver Greg Jennings (Achilles) also is listed as questionable but he told reporters Thursday that he definitely expects to play. Jennings was listed as probable against Seattle last week but he was made inactive on game day after experiencing a setback."

It is going to be interesting to see how the Packers fans react to Jennings’ return, but we fully expect to hear plenty of boos whenever he makes his way on to the field in his purple and white uniform.

Whether or not that booing will lead to motivation for Jennings remains to be seen.
