Broncos TE Julius Thomas ‘not looking good’ to play
By Josh Sanchez
During last week’s big win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas was hit squarely on the knee and ended up going down with an injury. Thomas has been working all week to get healthy and make sure he is available for today’s game against the New England Patriots, but it isn’t looking good.
According to Ian Rapoport on NFL Network’s NFL GameDay Morning, Thomas is looking like he will be among the inactives that are announced around an hour prior to kickoff.
Rapoport said that it is “not looking good” for Thomas.
Thomas has been a favorite target of Peyton Manning’s throughout the first three months of the season, so not having him on the field would be a big setback for the Broncos passing attack.
Add in that the team is coming off of a big emotional win and they could find themselves on the wrong end of the result.
