Georgia QB Aaron Murray played one series after tearing ACL

Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Aaron Murray is a tough guy not to root for, so when he left yesterday’s game against the Kentucky Wildcats with a torn ACL you couldn’t help but to feel sorry for him. You never want to see a player suffer a serious knee injury, especially one that brings their college career to an end, but what you may not know is the toughness Murray showed as he attempted to play through the injury.

Murray actually suffered the torn ACL earlier in the game and he played an additional drive with the injury.

Eventually, the pain was just too much and he had to come out of the game and watch his collegiate career come to an end.

From David Ching of ESPN.com:

Murray had a great college career and now he will have to turn his focus towards rehabbing the injury and trying to make an impact in the pros. We wish Murray a full and speedy recovery.
